Buenas Noches de Buenos Aires

Greetings from Buenos Aires! Believe it or not, we actually had no problems in getting here. Everyone has all of their luggage, and all of our transportation was on time.

Our first day here was pretty low key. After getting settled at the hotel, we had a Gilligan-esque three-hour city tour including the Obelisk, Casa Rosada (pink house), the Metropolitan Cathedral (with the columns), and La Recoleta Cemetery (final resting place of Eva Peron), shown below.
Dinner was on our own afterwards, and nine of us gorged ourselves on some of Argentina's finest steak. This recommendation is where our tour guide really earned her stripes!

Tomorrow we have a (Marc-Andre) flurry of business visits. Hopefully we'll have some time to find Nick a tango partner!

As I'm sitting in the hotel lobby writing this post, I just saw a guy walk by on the street wearing a Flyers shirt. It's my commitment to this blog that held me back from chasing him down. Go Pens!

No problems with luggage or any aspect of your trip? That must mean you wisely avoided the Philadelphia airport. Glad to see the DRAKE shirt is alive and well. GO PENS!!
